The Corner School was established in 1956 by a group of concerned parents who wanted high-quality preschool education for their children. Today we continue in the tradition of high-quality education in a small and nurturing environment. Our Pre-K and 3-K programs offer the excitement of becoming part of a classroom community and foster a love of learning that will continue throughout their school years.
We offer 5-day 3-K and Pre-K programs contracted through the NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE).

We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful learning through free exploration and play. The Corner School provides developmentally appropriate programs for our children’s ages and stages of development. Our purpose is to provide a warm, inviting, and well-equipped environment in which children feel welcome, safe, and successful.
